Painted Composition Eagle Figure, America, early to mid-20th century, mounted on a wooden base, (tears on wings), ht. 9 3/4, wd. 17 in. the wings composed of cut cardboard segments with a paper mache-type joinery, four tears on wings, the body appears to be carved wood with applied gesso then painted.
