Framed Watercolor and Calligraphic Skinner Family Record, probably New Jersey, third quarter 19th century, watercolor and pen and ink on paper depicting the vital statistics of Cornelius Skinner, born February 23, 1797, and his wife Susannah Emery born August 23, 1800, married August 30, 1824, and their ten children, ornamented with symbols of love, marriage, birth, and death, and calligraphic flourishes, (toning, repairs), 15 3/4 x 11 in. , in a period mitered wood frame. Note: Genealogical records indicate all the family members were born in Mansfield Township, Warren County, New Jersey. paper backed with conservation rice paper, repairs to several small paper losses around edges.
