Howard & Company, Boston , blued-steel hands, eight-day weight-powered movement with dead-beat escapement, Geneva stop, damascened plates stamped E. Howard & Co., Boston , silver-leafed wooden pendulum rod, nickel engine-turned decorated bob and iron weight, ht. 63 in. Case lacking applied incised decoration at top of cornice, 5 inch section of wooden bezel around dial gone, dial and signature undisturbed, movement complete but needs cleaning.
