Victor Type B Talking Machine, No. 8979, c. 1901, with 7-inch turtable, clamp, bolt brake, top-wind motor, Concert soundbox no. 5622, oak traveling arm, oak case with applied fleur-de-lis motif and bead-and-reel carved baseboard molding, plaque on the front "Victor" Made by Eldridge R. Johnson, Type B 8979, Patented U.S. and Foreign Countries. Camden, New Jersey , and black horn with gold pinstriping, base 9 1/2 in. square, (old split in baseboard, replacement felt and elbow).
