Sublime Harmony Interchangeable Musical Box by Mermod Freres, No. 17340, with three six-air cylinders playing popular and operatic airs including the overture to William Tell , nickel-plated double-spring movement, Jacot safety check, tune indicator, two tune-sheets, and bookmatched burr-walnut veneered case with quarter-veneered lid, boxwood stringing, tulipwood crossbanding, ormolu carrying handles and cylinder storage drawer, wd. 33 1/2, cylinders 13 in., (fine playing condition). Movement has not been recently cleaned, but plays extremely well, with good arrangements and sonority. Case in original finish, some veneer losses and lifting on lid. Otherwise good.
