Key-Wind Three-Overture Musical Box by Nicole Freres, No. 24531, playing the overtures to William Tell , Semiramis and Fra Diavolo , (Gamme No. 737), with brass bedplate, instant stop, tune-sheet (torn), walnut case with red interior, hinged endflap and rosewood inlaid lid with four lines of boxwood stringing and central musical motif, wd. 17 1/2, cylinder 9 1/4 x 2 3/4 in., (old corrosion on comb). Note: The movement has been recently overhauled and plays well. There are approximately 180 teeth in the comb, of which one tip and three teeth have been replaced. Movement has been recently overhauled and plays well. Comb has marks from old corrosion. Case refinished.
