Mira 18 1/2-inch Empress Concert Grand Musical Box, No. 6790, by Mermod Freres , with double-combs, pronounced bass teeth, tapering mahogany console cabinet with geometric boxwood stringing, double doors to disc storage compartment, and Lyon & Healy, Chicago retailer's transfer in lid, ht. 40 in. Movement has been recently cleaned and overhauled to good playing condition. There are light traces of old rust on the comb. Case exterior retains its original finish (craquelure). Interior (not lid) has been refinished.
