German Pull-Toy Automaton Bell Ringer, with open mouth, fixed blue glass eyes, original blonde mohair wig, carved wood hands holding pairs of brass bells, and paper-covered base with lever connected to crank on front wheels causing the figure to turn from side to side, dressed in original two-color silk polichenelle costume and hat decorated with lace and pom-poms, ht. 14 in., (worn fabric on back, paper losses on base).
