After Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963), Georges Visat, etcher (French, b. 1910) Nature morte, 1950, edition of 100 plus proofs, published by Musée du Louvre. Signed or inscribed "Bon G.B." together with a cubist sketch in pencil l.l. Color etching and aquatint on BFK Rives paper with watermarks, plate size 14 x 23 7/8 in. unmatted, unframed. Condition: Deckled edges to all but the top, minor rub within plate mark but outside of the image l.r. There are very subtle handling creases, almost exclusively to the margins. Old hinges are attached to the corners along the right side. The sheet measures 18 7/8 x 27 1/2 inches.
