Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Tête de chevre de profil , 1952, edition of 250 (Ramie, 145). Stamped "EMPREINTE ORIGINALE DE PICASSO" and "MADOURA PLEIN FEU" on the base. Oblong earthenware dish with engobe decoration with glazes in black, white, green, and blue, 12 1/4 x 20 in. (31.4 x 50.7 cm). Condition: Surface grime. Minor chip (approx. 1/8 in) to underside of foot, plus several other smaller ones to same. The soiling is subtle.
