Albert Bierstadt (German/American, 1830-1902) Autumn, Summit Woods, New Jersey Signed "ABierstadt" l. l., identified on a presentation plaque and in an inscription on the reverse, a label from Kennedy Galleries, Inc., New York, affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 14 1/4 x 19 in. (36.2 x 48.3 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch. The lining is adhered with wax. Moderate to heavy varnish. Retouch is scattered dots and small areas (most concentrated u.l.). The framed dimensions are approximately 19 x 23 1/4 in.
