Alfred Heber Hutty (American, 1877-1954) Day's End, Carolina. Signed "Alfred Hutty..." in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l., inscribed "purchased directly from Mrs. Hutty - 3/28/55..." in pencil on the reverse. Etching with drypoint on laid paper, plate size 7 7/8 x 11 in. (20.0 x 27.8 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 1/4 inches or more, minor soiling and handling creases, several pale fox marks, unpressed crease to lower margin at left corner. Provenance: Private New England Collection There is a tiny crease to the corner of the margin u.r. The handling marks and creases are very minor, as is the mat burn.
