Ellsworth Kelly (American, b. 1923) Red/Blue, from TEN WORKS + TEN PAINTERS, 1964, edition of 500 plus proofs, published by the Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford (Axsom, 2). Unsigned, Ives-Sillman, New Haven dry stamp l.r., with Fogg Art Museum duplicate stamps on the reverse. Color screenprint on paper, image size 22 x 18 in. (55.8 x 45.5 cm), matted and with original folder, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1 inch. Provenance: Property of the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard Art Museum, sold to benefit the acquisition fund. A minute (less than 1/8 inch) printing flaw or spot to image u.l. Very subtle small rubs to surface.
