Artist Designed Enamel and Garnet "Triptych" Cuff Bracelet, Colette, centering three cloisonne enamel panels depicting cranes in flight and polychrome ciphers, bezel-set with oval-cut garnets, 14kt gold and silver mount, signed. Provenance: Purchased at Holsten Gallery, 1982. Note: Colette (b.1937) is a self-taught artist known for her mastery of cloisonne enamel. Her technique involves multiple layers of enamel which can sometimes require twenty-five firings per piece. In 1978, she received the Prix d'honneur at the Limoges Biennale. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Rhode Island School of Art and Design. Fractures to enamel.
