Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, New England, with 7 1/2 in. painted iron dial with Roman numerals, rope-molded gilded frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the waist marked Patent , the lower with the goddess of the sea, brass side ornaments flanking the waist, carved and gilded lower pediment, eight-day time only movement with pendulum and lead weight, ht. 42 in. re-gilded frames and pediment, repainted glasses, dial and hands are undisturbed, no significant repairs or replacements on movement.
