Six Enameled Porcelain Lithopane Steins, Germany, 19th century, each with hinged pewter lid, a three-tenth litre with depiction of Berge (Hannover), overall ht. 7 1/4; together with five one-half litre, a depiction of Siegesdonkmal Berlin, overall ht. 7 5/8; one with scenic village and cathedral, titled Grussaus Cham, overall ht. 8 3/8; one with a community beer hall, overall ht. 7 7/8; one with cavalier blowing a trumpet on horseback, verse above, overall ht. 8 1/2; and one with scene of a couple with dog at home, titled to rim "Die Verlobung", possibly from a short story by Ludwig Tieck, overall ht. 8 1/4 in. Each showing some very light wear to enamel trim lines along footrims; Grussaus Cham stein with a small puncture hole in the middle of the base; otherwise all else in very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
