Chinese, Daoguang Period style (1820-1850), likely first half 20th century. Pair of shallow bowls of white porcelain decorated with iron red bats and Shou symbol to interior below a border of cloud scrolls at rim, and to exterior with four medallions of blue bats surrounding gilt Shou symbols, altogether to a ground of light blue and gilt geometric patterning, beneath a border to rim of gilt meandering key on iron red. Marked to underside with hand painted overglaze "Shende Tang Zhi (Made for the Hall of Prudent Virtue)". Approximately 6.75" diameter at rim, 1.625" tall._x000D_
