Empire Coin Silver Milk Jug and Covered Sugar, Philadelphia, c. 1830, Curry & Preston, makers, ovoid, chased and embossed to bodies with a rosehead flanked by leaves, sugar with flowerbud finial and downswept open loop leaf handles, ht. 9 1/2, jug with flat leaf-topped scroll handle, ht. 7 3/8 in., both on beaded tiered trumpet feet, monogrammed, approx. 37 troy oz. minor age wear, a few light pinpoints and light rim nicks.
