Set of Six George III Carved Mahogany Side Chairs, mid 18th century, each with serpentine cresting and scrolled ears above an openwork baluster splat and trapezoidal slip-seat, on carved cabriole legs ending in pad feet, seat ht. 18 in. Overall very good condition; some shrinkage to splats; dark color; well carved; crestings with pinned mortise and tenon joints; one with restored back foot; one knee return off but present; age typical minor defects.
