Four Piece Kirk Silver Repousse Tea Set and Associated Footed Bowl, tea set comprising two tall pots, (ht. 13 3/4, and 13 1/2), a milk jug, and a covered sugar urn, all 1846-61, with an associated footed bowl, 1903-07, with presentation inscription to underside, ht. 5 7/8 in., all chased and embossed with dense foliates and architectural town scenes, the pots, jug, and sugar with angular handles topped by ram's heads, lids with stylized tree finials, monogrammed, approx. 134 troy oz. total. teaset with varying marks from the 1846-61 period. inscription to foot of bowl reads: Eleanor Johnston Gibson from her cousin to whom she gave the original bowl, Chauncey McCormick son of Eleanor Brooks McCormick, a reproduction of the original bowl from the tea set of Abraham & Eleanor Harryman Cole. all monogrammed AEC. minor age/surface wear.
