Two William Gale & Son Sterling Table Articles, New York, 1862-66, comprising a gravy boat, and a small covered sauce tureen, with matching S-scroll rim, over band of paneling, domed ogee feet engraved with morning glories, the gravy boat with flying loop rocaille handle, ht. 6 1/2, the tureen with domed lid engraved with grapes, morning glories, and diapered cartouches, with husk wreath handle, ht. 6 3/4 in., monogrammed, approx. 32 troy oz. total. Good, with minor surface scratching. monogrammed EGL.
