Three Piece Gorham Sterling Art Deco Artist-designed Sterling Table Suite, c. 1926, by Erik Magnussen, comprising a pair of weighted candlesticks, and a centerbowl, all with radiating vertical line decoration, the sticks with two flattened knops with scalloped rims, the bowl with single knop, all on tiered spreading feet, stick ht. 10 3/4, bowl ht. 5 5/8, dia. 10 1/4 in., approx. 23 troy oz. weighable silver. All with interlocking "EM" Magnussen mark. weight of approx. 23 troy oz. for bowl only, as sticks are weighted and therefore not weighable. candlesticks: sailboat date mark, and mark EGO. nozzles presently stuck into place, with one nozzle showing slight compression onto sconce, otherwise good. bowl: marked EGL. foot not weighted. minor surface rubbing to interior of bowl from cleaning. minor dings to underside of bowl.
