Six Enamel Boxes, England/France, 18th and 19th century, comprising: tombstone shaped lilac with foliates, lg. 2 1/2; apple-form, ht. 1 1/4; quatrefoil motto box with pink body, reading "accept this trifle from a friend whose love for thee will never end," wd. 2 1/8; oval pink patch box with black motto "Remembrance of friendship," with mirror to interior of lid, wd. 1 1/2; cobalt blue book-form with scene of courting couple, lg. 2 1/4; and oval pink with motto "Who opens this must have a P/Kiss," lg. 1 1/4 in. book form box fully restored. lilac example fully restored. one crack to mirror of pink "Remembrance" box. Pink "Trifle" box with some light scratching. Apple form box with chips and lining at upper rim, hairlines to lid, light scratching. "Who opens this" box with initial letter to K/Piss modified. scratched outline of this letter suggests K, but enamling is worn, and now suggests a P.
