Interesting Sheffield Plate Tea Dispenser, early 19th century, large spherical hot water well, engraved with foliate girdle, with Demeter mask pendant handles, lid with lion-form finial, with large tap, over rotating demilune reservoir with three compartments, each with lid with lion form finial and interior strainer for tea leaves, and separate taps with bifurcate ivory handle, on round salver base, ht. approx. 27 in. minor rosing. one small tap lacking its ivory handle. minor age wear. heavy tarnish.
