20th century. Pair of complementary heavy and large figural garden sculptures rendered out of dark green to black marble stone depicting two nude female angels. Each standing barefoot at full length on a plinth base with acanthus leaf tips on wall behind them at knee or thigh level. Angels with long curled hair, arms crossed over chest and contained within slightly domed feathered wings. Faces rendered realistically with calm and pleasant facial expressions. Apparently unsigned. Each measures approximately height 51", width 12", depth 8".
