Indo-Persian Silver Scribe's Case, late 19th century, with French import mark, with all-over floral engraving, barrel-form ink pot, on three part case ending in paneled spheres, lg. 11 3/4, approx. 10 troy oz.; sold together with engraved brass Middle Eastern scribe's case, late 19th/early 20th century, engraved with lettering and scrolls, lg. 8 3/4 in., (2 items total). Silver case with small area of chain replaced at lid. Both good, with minor age wear.
