Chippendale Cherry Reverse SerpentineChest of Drawers, probably Connecticut, late 18th/early 19th century, with molded top, scratchbeaded molded conforming drawers on ogee bracket feet, old refinish, (minor restoration), ht. 32, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 20 in. Note: Chalk inscription on a drawer bottom reads "Luther/H---"; Backboard also with chalk inscription which reads "----/ Eliphalet." right side shrinkage crack; three feet patched on one side each about 3 inches; base scuffed.
