Partial Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Tea Service, late 18th/early 19th century, each piece decorated with a crest depicting a bird perched above a polychrome flower garland surrounding a shield centered with an iron red and gilt flower sprig, with gilt-starred blue rim borders; including a covered cream jug, ten teabowls, ten saucers, nine coffee cups, four small bowls and a small lobed dish; also a drum-form teapot decorated with a blue bow knot suspending an oval with a gilt flower sprig, flanked by polychrome flower garlands , 37 pieces total, (imperfections), ht. 1 7/8-5 1/2 in. drum-form teapot- good; covered cream jug- 3/4 x 1/2 in. loss on rear of rim; tea caddy- four 1/2-1 in. hairlines on rim of bottle; ten teabowls- 6 are good, three have cracks one has losses with pieces present; ten saucers- 5 are good, four have hairlines(one repaired with staples), one with two losses with pieces present; nine coffee cups- three good, six with cracks one has a rim chip; four small bowls- good; and a small lobed dish- good cond. Broken pieces retained in teapot.
