Regency Mahogany Veneer Etagere, England, c. 1800, the three shelves and two drawers rest on turned legs with casters, (minor imperfections), ht. 57, wd. 19 3/4, dp. 19 3/4 in. The three shelf tops all have shrinkages cracks going across them, and scratches on the surfaces, mellowed and tuned dark over time with wax, both drawer bottom have shrinkage cracks which have opened up a little, the secondary wood is oak, the back boards are made from a softwood, so the piece was meant to be against a wall.
