Queen Anne Salmon Painted Chest Over Drawer, Massachusetts or Connecticut, early 18th century, the molded hinged top above a double-arch molded case with of single drawer and applied molding at base with shaped skirt joining four cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms, the engraved brasses appear to be original, old salmon red painted surface, (imperfections), ht. 40 1/2, wd. 35 1/2, dp. 16 in. Losses to two pad feet; there are minor repairs and losses to the left rear style, knee return, and bracket. There is also a patch to the backboard in the same area.
