Paint-decorated Dower Chest, Pennsylvania, early 19th century, painted salmon red with dark brown smoke designs bordered in yellow and green on ball-turned feet, (minor imperfections), ht. 28, wd. 48 3/4, dp. 21 1/2 in. Left side has a couple of scratches that were touched up; top has some paint loss to the smoke design.
