Four Portneuf Pottery Stick Spatter Decorated Covered Bowls, Scotland, late 19th/early 20th century, the first decorated with butterflies and demilune designs in blue, the second with anchors and ropes in black and yellow, the third with cows in blue, and the fourth with bowknotted swags with inscription "SOMETHING TAE THE BAIRN" in shades of green and blue, (minor imperfections), ht. 2 1/2-3 5/8 in., dia. 5 3/4-6 5/8 in. the bowl with butterflies has some light discoloration, two hairlines one about 1 in. from rim and one X- shaped about 1 in. dia., also has a small glaze burst near bowl center
