Needlework Sampler, "Ef(s)ther Moor Finish'd This March The 15 in the Year Of our Lord 1822," probably England, worked in silk threads and wool yarns on a linen ground, upper register with rows of alphabets, over the initials of several famly members and a verse, the lower register with potted flowers and a stag, (toning, fading), 22 1/2 x 17 in. , in a period foix bois burl frame ornamented with scrolled foliate devices on the corners.
