Co., Bristol, CT, USA , green and silver border on upper glass, reverse-painted tablet inscribed "Residence of J.C. Brown, Esq. Bristol, Conn.", flanking side ornaments and eight-day lyre shaped movement with detached wooden fusees, blue-green paper dust cover on backboard and printed paper label stating Henry Russell, Practical Clock Maker, No. 220 Federal Street, Portland, Maine. , ht. 24 in. Side arms are old replacements, reverse-painted glass is repainted, dust paper and dial are undisturbed; movement is not stamped.
