Mahogany Striking Mirror Wall Clock, New Hampshire, c. 1830, turned painted and gilt half columns flanking the reverse-painting over the printed paper dial with Roman numerals, lower looking glass section, raised pediment, eight-day skeletonized striking movement with front hung pendulum, rack and snail strike and recoil escapement regulated by a pendulum and powered by two lead weights, ht. 41 in. Glass is repainted, looking glass appears to be the original, paper dial is glued to a pine backing and is undisturbed, pendulum bob is period but adapted to hook on the end of the rod, original hands and period weights.
