Chaim Gross (American, 1904-1991) The Fiddler Signed "Chaim Gross... " in pencil l.r., titled on the paper backing. Graphite and watercolor on paper, sheet size 11 1/4 x 19 in. (28.6 x 48.3 cm), framed. Condition: Tack holes to the corners, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Ex-collection of Lewis H. Weinstein, Boston, Massachusetts, private collection by family descent. N.B. A group of eleven offset printed holiday cards, several dedicated in pen by Renee and Chaim Gross, accompany the lot.
