Charles Webster Hawthorne (American, 1872-1930) The Ampitheater at Nimes Signed "CWHawt... " in pen l.l., titled on the reverse. Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 13 x 19 in. (33.0 x 48.3 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Inscribed "The Ampitheater at Nimes" and "Mr. Goldberg" in pencil with a stamp from Shore Galleries, Boston, on the cardboard backing; sheet size 14 x 20 in., cloth taped to window mat; old tape residue on the reverse, subtle mat burn.
