Pair of Brass and Iron Steeple-top Andirons, America, first quarter 19th century, steeple top on belted balls supported on faceted shafts, cabriole legs, and ball feet, (crack on one shaft), ht. 20 1/2, wd. 9 3/4, dp. 18 1/2 in. 1 in. vertical crack on rear of one shaft on molded area above faceted column. The other andiron has a small hole at the rear of the top of one column.
