Three Enamel Decorated Patch Boxes and a LaFayette Commemorative Burl Snuff Box, England and France, early 19th century, oval patch boxes with hinged lids inscribed with sentiments, two ornamented with floral borders, the interiors fitted with mirrors, together with a small round burlwood box, the lid fitted with an embossed gilt brass disc centered with a profile bust of LaFayette and inscribed "HOMAGE A LAFAYETTE 1830," (imperfections), dia. 1 5/8-2 in. The enamel boxes all have fine cracks in the enamel on the top, sides and interiors, the most ornate one has a small loss at lower center, two mirrors are crack the third has loose silvering inside, burl box in good condition.
