Literature: This unusual thirty-gull Chuval has an elem identical to one illustrated in Rippon Boswell's Catalog of the Lesley and Robert Pinner Collection of Turkoman Rugs , May 15, 2004, lot 11, p. 21; a twenty-five gull Chuval of similar design is lot 32, p. 41 of the same collection.
