Afshar Saddle Cover, South Persia, late 19th century, (end fraying, very slight moth damage, small rewoven area on edge), 3 ft. 2 in. x 2 ft. 10 in. The wool is shiny, not dull. The color is above average, but not of the highest quality. The red has slightly discolored the ivory at the lower right corner of the piece.
