Twelve Kalo Tumblers for the Yacht Athero II Sterling silver and enamel Chicago, Illinois Cylindrical form with hammered finish and two enamel flags in red and blue with Athero II below on side, marked on base, Sterling Handwrought at the Kalo Workshops and L, approx. total wt. 54 troy oz., ht. 3 in. Note: Literature leads to the Athero II being built as a yacht in 1926 by George Lawley and Sons, Corp., Neponset, Massachusetts. The yacht was converted later for Naval Service as the USS Jade serving the United States and Ecuador.
