Regency Giltwood Four-light Convex Girandole, early 19th century, eagle carved cresting with rockwork base and with ball and chain clutched in beak, circular frame carved with bead and reel and with an ebonized and reeded inner slip, open foliate carved pendant with four scrolled arms, ht. 48, wd. 34 in. Inner frame with eight cracks to giltwood, five cracks to ebonized slip; scattered mostly minor repainted area, retaining about 85+ percent of original gilding; good old plate; minor break to one nozzle; age typical minor scuffs, chips and defects.
