Concetta Scarvalione Art Deco Sculpture (1900-1975) Carved stone United States Stylized head of a woman, ht. approx. 18 1/4 in. Note: Exhibitions were held at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Corcoran Gallery, the Whitney Museum, the Jeu de Paume in Paris, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Brooklyn Museum of Art recognized her work early on in the Art Deco period. Provenance: Estate of Dr. Annella Brown.
