Dutch Delft Tobacco Jar, Holland, early 18th century, blue and white decorated with central inscription "No. 2 BEYNDHOVEN se RAPPE", within a frame adorned with flowers, marks for Quirynus Mesch under base, ht. 12 3/8 in.; together with a stepped brass cover, overall ht. 18 in. Brass cap slightly bent; jar rim with even glaze loss and a shallow 1" chip that may have been ground down.
