Louis XVI Cream Painted and White Marble-top Beechwood Petite Console, c. 1785, stamped P. Dumagny, with demilune top and slightly breakfronted corners above an openwork frieze of entwined strapwork and leaftips, on leaf carved circular, fluted, and tapered legs joined by a C-shaped stretcher, ht. 34, wd. 19 1/2, dp. 10 in. Top of one leg with split; paint likely later; age typical minor defects; very good overall.
