Louis XVI Provincial Walnut Chest of Drawers, late 18th century, rectangular top with rounded corners above a conforming case fitted with three long drawers, flanked by fluted stiles, on turned legs, ht. 35 1/2, wd. 48 1/2, dp. 18 in. Moderate to heavy worming overall, with some exposed worm tunnels to top. Shrinkage crack to top running from one side to the other, with some areas of fill. Right front leg with glue repair. Top drawer lacking left side strip of raised paneled border; and lacking lock mechanism. some restoration to drawers. light water spotting to front. finish very thin.
