French Aesthetic Movement Earthenware Ormolu-mounted Vase, third quarter 19th century, tapered ovoid, enamel and slip decorated with hydrangeas and yellow wildflowers, a blue bird, and foil accenting, earthenware ht. 11, with ormolu neck mount with trefoil rim and short handles, on ormolu base with four Minerva mask feet, full ht. approx. 17 1/2 in. Shallow chips and flaking along the footrim which sits inside the collar of the base.
