English, 20th century. A George III (1738-1820) style dining table on double pedestal base with two extending leaves, the rectangular mahogany top decorated with satinwood and tulipwood banding with beaded edge, over two ring and baluster turned pedestal shafts each with heavily carved acanthus leaves and resting on downswept reeded and acanthus carved legs terminating in brass lion paw sabots on brass casters. Approximate height 29", length 82.25", depth 48", length of each leaf 19", length of table with leaves extended 120.25".
