Kittinger Company (American (Buffalo, New York), founded 1866-present). A circa 1980s oversized Chippendale style camelback sofa upholstered in peach and rose cotton Divinity Damask fabric, the serpentine form crest terminating in rolled arms on cyma curved supports surmounting upholstered seat rail, terminating in machine-carved Marlborough front legs and raking back legs, all joined by stretchers. Label under seat cushion reads "made by Kittinger Company/1893 Elmwood Ave./Buffalo, N.Y. 14207". Approximate height 39", width 96", depth 30", seat to floor 18.5".
